Th universe is against me.
My life?
Over.
Why?
Because of that picture.
Proving that someone is out to get me.
This is a picture of my grandmother's cat food bucket.
Well, the inside of it.
And if you look,
There is one.
Just one.
Four pronged, lighter in color, piece of cat food.
Just one.
Thank you, universe.

Sick with Kittens
Please note that the title is sick WITH kittens, NOT sick OF kittens. I am very happy to have kittens during my sick time.
Alright. update. *sigh*
I am sick. Recovering from being sick, currently, but who knows what the winter season has in mind for me.
I have......
Wait for it....
KITTENS.
here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhAVCT2LGNg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lThRo7wq6NI
those are videos of my kittens.
Their names are Finnigan and Evan, and they are both boys. They are about 7-8-9 weeks old. We don't really know.
Finnigan breaks into my room to snuggle up with me every night, no matter how many books I put in front of the door.
I love them so much.
And now I am going to go take a nap, because my head hurts.

State Fair Again......
Back from the State Fair.
had such an awesome time with my friends, I cannot describe it.
Zim and Curly did OK, and Brian's kid got Reserve Grand in the youth show. So yay.
I had a FANTASTICALLY AWESOME TIME with my friends. I took pictures, but I'm not sure they would like to have them on the internet. *evil grin*
I think I got about 7 hours of sleep the whole weekend. But it was worth it. I stayed up until four in the morning on Friday night. It was awesome.
However, when my friends had all left, I nearly fell asleep against the bars of the pens. Then I slept all the way home. When we got to my grandmothers, I accidentally kept sleeping in the car while my family unloaded everything and milked. Then when we got home, I got my stuff out of the car, plopped it on the floor of my room, skipped the shower I was planning on taking and slept until 9:00 PM. Then I woke up and stayed up until 11:00 PM. And then I went to sleep again and stayed asleep until 10:00 AM . So the sum-up of this boring story?
I'm exhausted.
I'm also bruised.
My arms, all up and down. Bruised.
My fingers, swollen.
My toes, blistered.
My nose, runny.
My muscles, aching.
And I feel AWESOME.

I just got back from the West Virginia State Fair, did pretty well...
Zim got 1st and Curly got third....
My friends, Ryan and Myra, weren't there..... :(
However, Aaron, my cousin, did come, as we knew my friends wouldn't be there and I didn't want to be completely lonely.
But I didn't enjoy hanging out with Aaron the whole time.
So much that I was forced to be outgoing.
So much that I was forced to make friends with someone else named Aaron.
No, really.
There was a boy and his sister at the pens next to us, and they looked lonely, and the sister, Niki, who was 13, had won he costume class, so I went and congratulated her. And later, the brother, Aaron, who was 15, gave me a pair of concert tickets that they weren't going to use. The concert was really neat, although it was all christian music.....
Either way, we started hanging out, although Niki actually did have a friend to hang out with so we didn't hang so much with her.
So I made new friends :)

Greece
SOOOOO......
I went to Greece for 16 days.
Huzzah!
It was wonderful. It was simply wonderful.
I took 2500 pictures. The family I traveled with had two cameras, and they also took lots of pictures, but I don't know how many yet.
I got to be the middle man, since Alex and Nicole(Sibling in the family I traveled with--Alex was 11 and Nicole was 10, they fought a lot.)
I compiled a list of things about Greece that I thought were interesting...
IN GREECE:
1. You have to put 4 clothes pins on each shirt to keep it from blowing away
2. You tell a one way street by the direction the parked cras are facing
3. No one cares if you park on the sidewalk, or park anywhere erracticly
4. The ocean is actually BLUE. In most places, you can see straight to the bottom even if it's 20 feet down. Also, there are no waves.
5. Most beaches are pebble beaches.
6. Adults don't mind if their kids are naked on the beach
7. "Tavern" (Or "Taverna") Doesn't imply beer
8. In most places, you are required to throw your toilet paper into a can, not the toilet
9.Life doesn't start until after dark, and even toddlers will often stay up past midnight
10. Liquid comes in bottles that are regular sized for here AND bottles that are 1 1/2 times ths size, and it's normal to get the bigger one.
11.Shops close at 1:00 PM and open up again at 5:00 PM
12. Most Greeks haven't climbed Olympus...But I did!
13. Most Greeks are very relaxed and easygoing, and prefer the beach any day to sports.
14. They offer you shots of alcohol whether or not you are of age
15. Most Greeks skip breakfast
16. Meat and/or cheese stuffed into flaky bread is the most common thing to find
17. Porcelain holes in the ground are just as common as toilets...And they are used for the same thing.
18. In a lot of places, you can drive 30 minutes in any direction and hit either the beach or the mountains
19. Monasteries are everywhere, and also icons. You can buy an icon anywhere, and you will often see them hanging in even offices.
20. Children and adults will play all sorts of instruments on the street.
21. Graffiti is EVERYWHERE. Except (oddly enough) the bathrooms....
22. Most bathroom stalls use old style keys that you just leave in the lock.
23. Scooters are referred to as "Papakia" or "Little Ducks"
24. There are rarely big cars, it is mostly Papakia and tiny cars due to the small streets
25. Many Papaki riders wear their helmets on their elbow, since in Greece it's required to have a helmet WITH you, not necessarily on you.
26. Papaki riders weave in and out of traffic as much as they like, even though it's illegal.
27. The sidewalk are either two feet wide or fifteen feet.
28. Most houses and restaurants have linoleum or tiled floors.
29. Wood is more expensive than stone
30. Magnum Ice Cream is very popular.
So yeah....I'll post more later..../

So...
A bit of some very sad stuff here. I do not know exactly when, or exactly how, but either way, Macduff, our last cat, died sometime around the beginning of this month. He had been gone for a few days by June 3rd, but that didn't really bother us; he often went out for days at a time, such was his nature. Well, there happened to be a.....particular death scent....and an accumulation of Buzzards and Red-tailed hawks along our little dirt road...There wasn't much of a carcass left, but the fur was the exact same shade of brownish black. There wasn't enough left to bury. I think he would be happier, though, not being buried. He hated drastic changes and confinement, like being trapped in dirt. He was in one of his favorite places (The woods between my grandma's house and mine) and he was doing something he loved to do, (Walking; moving) and he was being one of his favorite things (free) when he died.
RIP Macduff. I will miss you, even if you don't believe me.

I'M BACK, but my hands are sad...
Just got back yesterday from the first goat show of the year, and man am I exhausted. Well, not really my whole body, just my hands. Carrying water buckets, milking goats by hand, and just generally showing my own goats and helping just about everyone else with theirs is bound to give you some blisters. My goats did OK, the highest that they all got was second. ( I took Chad, Clarissa and Zim.).....No more to report, My friends weren't there.... Oh yeah I got 31 bucks and a bar of soap. I got the $11 for first place in the goat fitting contest, and $20 and a bar of soap (that, might I add, smells really, really good.) from this one couple that I helped a lot. They were very generous.
Also, I am reorganizing my room. I have been meaning to do this for a while now, but I recently acquired a book from the library about Feng Shui and so that gave me a relatively good reason to do it. I just took down my giant collage.....I post a before and after picture tomorrow...or so...
That's all I can stand to use my worn and blistered hands for.

Her Name Is Alice--Shinedown
SO this is a very awesome song that I am learning to play on the piano.
The intro is very, very easy, but I haven't figured out the rest of it, and the internet has not been helpful...
Either way, Now I am eager to watch the movie. (The new version of Alice in Wonderland) Even though I don't generally watch creepy movies.
What's weird is that I used to like more gentle forms of pop songs, but lately I have really been enjoying types of powerful rock songs..... I don't mind though. Good music is good music, and man do I love my music.
So now I have finished my school but don't tell the government that. Basically, (so that we don't annoy the schooling systems too much) I get to go on field trips for the next month. (Apparently NC law states that everyone must have at least 9 months of schooling if they are under sixteen....
So, to get to my point, I'm going to the museum, and more importantly the museum with that new wing, tomorrow. YAY

HERE IS THE NEWS
Coming to you every hour upon the hour...... ( Here is the news by ELO)
ANY....something or the other, I got back from The Loch Norman Highland Games this weekend, It was a ton of fun, but sadly I did just about nothing. Here are some pics:
First is some random viking training.
Second is my mom shooting archery.
Third is the dagger I bought (not sharp, sadly)
Foruth is a REALLY AWESOME dagger that I did not buy.
Me in my Outfit
The Dragon Drawing book I bought
A baby fuzzy dragon from the book that I drew
In the Clan Davidson tenet (Me and my dad are Clan Davidson, My mom is Clan Lindsay)
The boots I bought the day before we left that cost me a fortune
Another dragon I drew from the book
And so..... yeah.
The other news consists of :
1.Trixie gave birth to two boys
2.Zodiac had 3 girls (WOAH) and one died.
3.Bianka has (as of yet, she might not be finished) what we think is one girl, this morning.
4.I have finished all but one of my school subjects, and all that is left that I have to do is rewrite a children's book in Greek. Harder than it sounds.
5. Since I can't legally finish my school in April, I get to go on a bunch of field trips to compensate. I'm hoping I can bring some of my friends sometimes.
6. I don't think all computer can do this, but if you can it's really awesome: Psykopaint
7. Here is a Basilisk.
8. Muzy once yo go here, click "see more apps". I really like Kaleidomoid, Music Maker, Brushes (love the spiderweb brush), and Music Grid.
9. We have a Nook now. What's really cool about it is that you can get Library books on it. :D
10. The Mimic Octopus Vid
11. I couldn't upload a video of me and my piano, it was taking more than two hours, so I guess there's something wrong...
12. I think that's eat.....I mean "enough....heheh....

Last night I went to a Good Friday church service, but mainly because my dad played Jesus.....That played with my mind a bit...
Either way, on the way home, we saw this GINORMOUS moon, and it was orange-ish...
A couple minutes after I saw it, I asked my mom why it was orange.....And this is how the following conversation ensued...
Me: Hey mom?
Mom: Yes?
Me: What causes the orangey color of the moon?
Mom: I think it's reflecting the atmosphere.
Me: Ah.
Mom: Or it could be Magic....
Me: Maybe the moon IS made of Cheese! Cheddar!
Mom: Or maybe it's blood..........*evil grin*
Yup, this is my family....
ALSO: Random song. I apologize for the bad words.....But I really like the song....: Shot IN The Dark--Within Temptation

This weekend I went to a Scout Camporee.I got to spend a weekend doing activities with Venturing Crew every spring. Every year they have a theme. This year, it was the Iron Man Olympics. It was awesome. We had only six people in our crew, but we did better than a lot of patrols. At each station (that we had to orienteer to) they gave us a brick to carry. We had to carry them for the rest of the weekend, and at the end, we could either return them or keep them, and 4 kids from our crew decided to keep them (including me) and the head guy saw my brick sticking out of my pack and gave us four awards for our persistence and our attachment to our bricks. I just figured, "If I'm going to carry something for two days straight, it's mine!"
But it was lots of fun, and now I'm extremely exhausted...

My Kids :D
Zim finally kidded! And she had triplets! she had two boys and a girl. The firstborn boy is to be called Colt. I haven't decided on the secondborn boy or the girl. I'm thinking that I'll call the girl either Clarissa or Candle. Yuo know what's weird? The spellcheck on this thing says that the last three letters of "Clarissa" is spelled wrong. o.O. Oh well, back to the point. This is Zim's first kidding when she had more than one! I'm very, very happy right now. I will post pics as soon as I get them.

YESTERDAY I DID SOMETHING DRASTIC.
Something I hadn't done in years.
Something I probably will avoid for the rest of my life.
I (wait for it.........)
Wore a dress.
No, it's true.
I really did wear a dress.
I'm not fond of dresses. You can't bend over, or sit in the dirt, or run really fast.
Don't get me wrong, dresses can look nice.
I just don't like to look nice all that often.
I'd rather play in the dirt.
I like dirt.
It's very nice.
I haven't worn a dress in........7 years? A very long time. My mom used to be fine with it, but now she thinks I have to look "proper", and apparently this includes dressing up more than I feel even remotely comfortable with.
But enough of this talk!
umm.....I don't really have much else to speak of....
I got two new CDs in the mail.....
OH I know.
I learned how to shoot a shotgun last Wednesday. IT WAS AWESOME.
Unfortunately, the recoil kept making me jump. I think I can attach a video my brother took of me. (He's the one who taught me to shoot).
Again, very awesome.

This the second time EVER I fired a shotgun. I had only fired Beebee (How do you spell that???) guns before.

My Girl Scout troop Went fishing from Friday-Saturday afternoon, and I caught 2 fish. Of course, I had to wake up at 6 in the morn to do it, but.....It was worth it. While we did not eat mine, we did eat one of the other girl's bigger catch and we had a stash of storbought fish to gut and cook. That was fun. I got to scrape the scales of the fish, cut off it's head, and dig out all of the guts with my finger. IT WAS AWESOME.
They tasted good.
Of course, the first thing I did when I got home was take a shower (because while the smell of fish does not bother me, my hands smelling like something other than my hands does happen to bother me).
Well.........Ruby had kids, we named the Boy Cosmo and we haven't given the girl a name yet. They are both healthy. Jane and Randy (That's Valerie's buck) have grown fast, even though they don't seem much bigger, they are MUCH stronger, and faster, and more hyper. Whatever you do, NEVER lie down on the ground with them around. Bad things happen......
That's it until I come up with something else in my life to post about.....
